Houston County Habitat for Humanity invites you to help us bring our Flags for Housing Program into your neighborhood. Through your donation, you are making homeownership affordable for a low-income family in Houston County. You are also helping to bring strength, stability, and self-reliance through shelter in their lives and in our community.

 

If you subscribe, your American flag will fly on the following patriotic holidays: Memorial Day, Flag Day, Juneteenth, Independence Day, Patriots Day (9/11), Election Day, and Veterans Day.

Flags for Housing Program For a minimum $100 annual contribution to the Habitat Flag Program, Habitat volunteers will bring you a flag mounted on a Houston County Habitat for Humanity branded flag pole which you can fly on the following holidays: Memorial Day, Flag Day, Independence Day, Labor Day through Patriot Day (9/11) and Veterans Day. Some neighborhoods have a volunteer who will set out and take down the flag for you if you are not able to do this for yourself. Each year our goal is to fly more than 500 flags in front of Houston County homes which would represent $50,000 raised for affordable housing.
