ABOUT US:

Houston County Habitat for Humanity is a Christian home-building ministry that believes that everyone deserves the opportunity to own a home. By partnering with individuals and families of low to moderate incomes, we help turn the dream of homeownership into reality.

OUR PROGRAM:

Our program requires qualifying participants to invest 250 hrs of sweat equity by working on their own homes and those of others, and to complete our homeownership course to ensure long-term success. In return, homeowners receive a zero-interest mortgage with monthly payments between $500 and $800—often more affordable than renting a one-bedroom apartment.

We try to encourage supporters to become monthly partners, as consistent contributions enhance our financial stability and improve our planning capabilities.
